Here the story begins.
To become king, Van must slay a dragon and get the Dragu-Energist crystal as proof of his victory. During this quest he is transported to the Mystic Moon, or as we call it Earth. There he meets Hitomi, a young girl with special powers. Using her powers, Hitomi is able to save Van's life and help him slay the dragon. When Van and Hitomi are talking, a strange beam of light appears and transports Van and Hitomi back to Gaea. And so the story begins.

What about Van?
Van's father and mother died when he was little. His brother Folken disappeared on a quest to slay a
dragon and to take the drag-energist to become king, but he never came back. All Van was left with was his childhood friend Merle.
